About Me:

I specialise in front-end development, excelling in hand-coded HTML, CSS and Javascript at W3C standards. I have a genuine passion for the web and actively involved in web meetups in London and Brighton and continuously researching new practices. I am excited by emerging technologies such as Media Queries, Microformats, HTML5 and CSS3. I have a strong education and employment history in the creative and digital arts and working experience freelancing and within an agency.

What I Use:

My OS of choice is by Apple OSX but I also use Windows for IE testing.

I happily ditched Dreamweaver a while ago for hand-coded websites in Textmate. I use CSSEdit for my formating and Firebug for testing and debugging. I'm a sucker for any productivity tool; Zen Coding, Sparkup, Quix, TextExpander etc.

I have working experience with time management and organization apps e.g. Basecamp and Adnet

Like most digital designers I'm well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite.

Non Work:

I live in North London, so when I'm not working I like to stretch my legs with a brisk stroll around the numerous parks and walks with my girlfriend. We also play badminton weekly and go for an early morning swim.

Inspiration comes from everywhere; shop-front typography, seasonal colour schemes, design blogs, image galleries like ffffound, vintage advertising...the list and source is endless. I find this filters into my work naturally as I discover new interests in design.

I'm an avid table-football player and break the day up with a game or three with my neighbours at Okay Studio. I play in defense.

I'm a regular visitor to The British Museum, V&A the other wealth of museums in London. A fairly recent visit to the Alexander Rodchenko exhibition at the Hayward was the inspiration for this website.

I enjoy music and comedy and attend local and larger organised events.
